Talented CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineers to add to our growing engineering team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Min. 5 years experience as a CNC programmer/Manufacturing Engineer with CAD and CAM systems experience; Unigraphics 6.0 or higher. Espirit and Mill programming is preferred.
Precision machine shop experience, aerospace/defense industry experience a plus.
3-5 axis machining centers and 3 axis turning center programming experience required, Mazak Integrex Multi task turning center programming experience a plus.
Process planning experience including shop routings, set-up sheets, tool lists, bills of material, assembly instructions and process sequences.
Great problem solving skills.
Experience with Tool design and fixturing a plus.
Knowledge of various CNC Machine tools and controllers a must.
Experienced programming for a variety of materials including harden steel and exotic alloys.
Sound analytical, mathematical and computing skills, including trigonometry, algebra, geometric and dimensional tolerance.
Knowledge of gear box manufacturing processes a plus.
MS Office proficient.
Must have knowledge of the latest tools available and be able to research and implement for best optimal performance.
Knowledge of good machining practices, feeds and speeds.
Experience working in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environment.
Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
In-depth knowledge of GD&T.
In-depth knowledge of G & M Code programming a plus.
Strong communication skills both written and oral.
Associates or Bachelor Degree in mechanical, manufacturing engineering a plus.
