Job Description:

Technical marketing is a multifaceted and interesting role. Are you up for the challenge? Responsibilities include product demonstrations, training, and marketing collateral material. You will be in the lime light during customer, partner, and internal meetings. Public speaking is common on the road, during webinars, and over WebEx. You will be expected to be the technical expert and be able to convey technical details and value propositions. You will need to come up to speed quickly on new technologies and product features. You will convey your opinions on new product features and define requirements for software developers as well as test alpha/beta code for workflow and ease of use. Duties:Originate solution/product application notes, case studies, solution guides, PowerPoint presentation, competitive positioning, battle cards, collateral material, etc.Present solution and product content during meetings, training, webinars, and videos.Effective presentation skills, social skills, and meeting facilitator skills with sales SE/AM and customers.Develop and deliver compelling product demonstration to Cisco field and partners.Develop and deliver product training for Cisco SEs and Partner SEs.Support product launch readiness.Provide post sales customer technical support during escalation situation.Able to interact with peers, marketing, product management, technical support, engineering, and sales staff.Travel 50% of the time. Qualifications:Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.5 or more year's previous experience in network engineering, technical support, or technical marketing.Working understanding of the technical fundamentals for computer network routers, switches, wireless and applications. Solid knowledge of internet protocols such as NetFlow, Routing, LAN, IP SLA, QoS, SSH, SNMP, and Telnet, as well as the ability to use diagnostic network debugging tools.Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and virtual machines.CCNA or CCNP certification highly desired.Excellent commutator in normal and difficult situations.Excellent writing skills.
