Job Description:

Overview: The Systems Engineer has responsibility for system design, requirements definition, and requirements validation for rail passenger transit brake, brake control and coupler systems. Responsibilities:Responsible for designing and coordinating the technical aspects of projects.Requires extensive regular contact with assigned project Clients' technical staff.Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.Engineering design of systems, including creation of high-level drawings, descriptions, calculations, requirements, and analysis.Coordination and checking of high-level engineering deliverables, including RAMS.Checking of product deliverables for requirements compliance and system compatibility.Establishing requirements and plans for products, testing, implementation, and car acceptance.Coordinate system development tasks to include design, integration and formal testing
