We are seeking a talented Support Engineer to work in our Raleigh-Durham area Support Center.
Provide technical support to broadcasters via phone, email and other electronic medium
Configure client's equipment to connect to the Internet via cellular modems, Wi-Fi and Ethernet
Troubleshoot software and hardware issues as needed
Provide customer training on equipment use and best practices
Provide remote assistance to the Sales Team upon request
Hands-on experience with PCs, servers, and networking equipment (routers, firewalls, etc.) is a must; applicant must be familiar with IP configuration, firewalls, NATs, and VPNs
One year's experience in Technical Support for a high-tech product, ideally in networking
Bilingual (Spanish) is highly desired
Linux and Windows proficiency
Excellent communicator both written and verbal, good listener
Outgoing, enthusiastic personality who brings a sense of fun to work
Highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
Fast learner who's not afraid to try new things
Open-minded and flexible, analytical problem-solver
Video hobbyist experience, or experience in the TV industry, is a plus.
