Seeking a Supply Chain Engineer for a Reputable Organization



* Perform the Supply Chain and Manufacturing activities (SC&M) of medical device related product development projects.

* Participate in R&D design reviews to ensure design quality, manufacturability, testability, global sourcing and lowest cost over the life of the design.

* Coordinate supplier interface and participation during design and layout reviews for manufacturing.

* Work with R&D to minimize the use of special material, components, hardware and processes except where required by functionality and availability or alternative choices.

* Other duties as required



KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:



* Experience in design and manufacturing in a new product development environment.

* Experience (1-3 yrs) working in a regulated (ISO, FDA) manufacturing environment with a preference for new product introduction.

* Experience in establishing supply chain strategies and their implementation.

* Experience with design & manufacturing tools & principles involved in the production of precision devices, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of high quality goods such as Lean and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly.

* SAP experience preferred.

* Strong Excel skills



* Ability to travel 30% of the time, both domestic and international.



EDUCATION:



* BSEE or BSME (BSME preferred)
