Our database developers work within their product team to perform feature analysis, requirements gathering, design, implementation and maintenance of SQL Server Databases to support C#, n-tier, enterprise applications. The team utilizes Scrum methodology, conducts design and code reviews, and ensures/validates product quality.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient in: SQL Server 2008/2013/2014 - T-SQL, stored procedures, views, functions, triggers using appropriate error handling and scalability techniques. OLTP Database design for scalability and performance.
  • Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery techniques, capacity planning, security administration and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to create and debug complex stored procedures, function, views and triggers.
  • Ability to trouble shoot issues in production environments.
  • Create comprehensive and well-written documentation.

Desirable Experience & Education:

  • A minimum of a BS or BA in Computer Science, an Engineering discipline, or equivalent years of experience
  • Experience analyzing query plans and optimizing T-SQL is a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the English language.
  • Document management and long-term care pharmacy knowledge a plus.
