Essential Job Functions:
. Conduct embedded programming in C++ language using QNX and LINUX operating system environment.
. Remote Access System (RAS) functionality to be ported and implemented from an older platform to the new platform.
. Second project is to support the Virtualization of platform, and help get hypervisor working on the platform running proprietary software as well as customer based software.
. Code, and execute changes required to make the hypervisor work as well as documenting the changes and creating an SDK and tool sets for customer use.
. Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
. Participate when needed as a presenter or reviewer in systems/software defect reviews
. Provide weekly reports in the format agreed between customer engineering and the supplier resources.
. Self-starter and ability to lead the effort with minimum supervision

. Required o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Computer Engineering or other technical discipline
o Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in embedded programing using C/C++ in QNX environment
o Expert Experience with Hypervisor Virtualization. Being able make changes at low levels of the OS to make the hypervisor work for multi OS operation on given processor.
o Experience with LINUX environment.
o Hands-on capability to handle test equipment & tools (such as DOORS, scripting languages(e.g. Perl, Visual Basic, DOS),
o Experience with DOORs Requirements Management Tools, ClearQuest Defect Tracking is a plus
o Experience with System Testing Processes, Tools, & Automation o Self-starter and ability to lead the effort with minimum supervision
o Ability to deliver results to a strict timeline despite project pressures
o The resource needs to be physically located in customer offices in Erie, PA
o Ability to engage and build positive relationships with both customers and internal and external employees
o Strong oral and written communication skills

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
. Work on-site in an engineering office environment, test lab, and on the customer shop floor.
. Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

. Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
