RK&K is searching for a mid to senior-level professional to support water resources in the field of stream restoration related studies and designs, to include preparation of construction documents, specifications and cost estimates, and construction management. Specific areas of expertise will include stream/wetland assessment and restoration, watershed studies, H/H analysis, stormwater outfall stabilization, SWM and TMDL removal credits, construction oversight/inspection of environmental restoration projects, and permit acquisition. The position will be able to help expand the firm's capabilities in this field through business development initiatives such as client outreach, training, and presentations.
Job Requirements Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related sciences field with ten years of progressive and related experience. In this role, you must enjoy working outdoors periodically in all seasons. CADD and GIS experience is preferred.
Candidates will work in a diverse and challenging environment and must be: 1) capable of coordinating simultaneous tasks, 2) adept at public interaction on technical matters, 3) able to write reports and prepare permit applications for oversight agencies and to address the full range of environmental issues and conditions associated with water resources projects.
