Senior Chief Engineer / Project Manager and Training Manager
Senior Chief Engineer / Project Manager and Training Manager to perform certain administrative, operations, management support, construction management support, training and related employee activities in order to further, improve, and enhance the corporate purposes of our firm and to support the Building Engineers and operations.
Senior Chief Engineer / Project Manager will be responsible for supervising the activities of the Stationary Engineering Team(s) who maintain and troubleshoot all equipment, systems and building components, including, but not limited to, mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks, furniture, paint, wall coverings, tile and other equipment. Applicant will have general knowledge in the general repair and or troubleshooting of fire life safety systems, boilers, chillers, generators, power distribution, chemical treatment, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration. Applicant will have knowledge of BMS System's such as Johnson's Metasy's Systems and or similar Building Management Systems such as Building Engines. Applicant will have a general knowledge of Pneumatic Systems and DDC controls. Applicant will have knowledge of Building Automation, security, and PC based programs.
Senior Chief Engineer / Project Manager shall have knowledge in all components of Building Stationary Engineering. Proficient at budgeting, blue print reading, plan review, project management, specifically project management of outside contractors, multi-tasking, prioritizing, development and following implementation of specifications, standards, policies and procedures. Excellent leadership skills, goal and detail oriented, innovative and motivated. Able to handle possible-pressure situations and decision-making. Adept at learning new processes and skilled at working with senior management. Professional customer services and professional client interaction is of utmost importance at all times. Applicant needs to have the ability to follow all company rules and regulations. Applicant's proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook in order to complete administrative responsibilities and maintain preventive maintenance PM work order programs.
Additional duties including but not limited to:
1. Proctor and conduct webinars, and other presentations dealing with the technical and procedural content of our company.
2. Provide weekly reports and monthly reports on activities to Senior Management
3. Assist in preparing annual technical plan and budget.
4. Ability to handle proper written follow up with proper grammar to senior management.
5. Must be flexible and responsive to the needs of our organization and possess ability to balance the needs of multiple priorities.
Certifications requested: Your certifications held will dictate what work you will be requested to work on and or review:
CFC Universal Certified
Certificate, Boiler Operation
Certificate, Construction Management or similar educational disciplines
Oregon, Electrical Certification, LME or Higher
Washington State, 07 Electrical License or Higher such as Administrator License / Journeyman, 01
BOC Level 1 and BOC Level 2
AFE.org Certifications such as: CPE, CPS, CPMM or (FEA - Certified, Facility Energy Analyst)
Compensation: Full Time or Part Time Negotiable. Salary or Hourly Negotiable.
$44.00 per hour to $68.00 per hour, + Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K. Plus Possible Bonus Commission Structure. Pay range is based on experience and level of qualifications and certifications. Special Note: Training Manager Duties might be carved out of position if applicant has a current full time position and is only interested in a limited but well paid Training Manager Position due to travel only being available on a limited basis.
