Security Systems Sales Engineer - Chicago/St.
Louis - Stealthwatch/ISE
* The Business Entity*
We are looking for a Security Systems Sales Engineer (SE) to be an integral part of the Lancope Stealthwatch Sales Team in the Chicago/St.
Louis territory to function as the key technical advisor.
The Systems Sales Engineer will serve as a field based technical solutions leader who will work closely with sales managers, prospects and partners as a subject-matter expert to demonstrate the technical and business value of our solutions.

Join our dynamic sales team as the go-to subject matter expert for exceptional cybersecurity products.
* Role & Responsibilities*
? Analyze and understand customer requirements or pain points to translate how Lancope?s solutions can be applied to meet their needs
? Keep abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies in order to best position Lancope in the marketplace
? Develop, present, and/or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions
? Provide product feature input to product management to influence future development
* Minimum Qualifications*
? 6+ years of experience as a Systems Sales Engineer or in a similar sales engineering role at a data network vendor, DPI equipment vendor, security vendor, service provider or network security company
? 6+ years of related technical experience, installing, designing, managing, administering and supporting an enterprise network
? Proven track record of helping sales account managers close deals with Fortune 1000 customers.
? Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Load balancers, proxies and firewalls
? Strong understanding of network security including, DDoS, Firewall, IDS, IPS, anti-virus and common exploits
? Proven ability to provide hands on technical product demonstrations and training.
