OverviewSales Engineer / Technical Sales RepresentativeLocation: Greater Ohio Valley Surrounding Areas Position based out of Clarkston MI OfficeSalary: Salary plus commission plus car allowance.Contact us now to apply for this position.Description: We are offering a great opportunity to a driven, ambitious, and aggressive sales engineer who is capable of cultivating and creating new markets. Strong marketing and administrative support will be provided.Compensation/Benefits: Excellent compensation package includes base pay plus commission and car allowance for the candidate who has a strong proven background in product sales to the automotive, manufacturing, and/or medical industries. This is a full time & direct-hired position.Job Skills/RequirementsAccountable for customers viewing TST as a partner in providing professional sales representation and excellent customer service.Possess the business savvy to influence and gain agreement with both the external and internal key decision makers, and work effectively with all levels of the organization.Demonstrated experience in sales and prospecting for new customers.Must exhibit excellent attention to detail and record keeping skills; must be able to manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks; must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment that is customer focusedMicrosoft Office experience required: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills; applicant must demonstrate a strong work ethic with a desire to succeed daily.Experience with and knowledge of CAD/CAM software products is a plus but not necessary since training will be provided.Applicant must be able to convey and translate technical information to a wide audience.Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken; must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with customers, other employees and members of management; must demonstrate tact, diplomacy, professionalism and a helpful / positive attitude in person and over the phone. Excellent phone skills are a must. Willingness to travel to support customer demands.The successful candidate must be an ambitious sales performer that is dynamic, driven, and energetic, results oriented, persuasive, self-motivated team player.
