Our Productivity Enhancement Group has created a position for a Senior Bolting Consultant for Structural Bolting Applications Senior Bolting Consultant - StructuralIndependently generate leads and to bring new solutions to design firms; services accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing scheduleMake appointments to visit various sites: Provide presentations on our products, application surveys, direct installation processes, troubleshoot and/or provide operational/safety training functionsDocument needs of customer, meticulously follow upAccess difficult to reach areas; precisely measure processes and equipment in order to produce and/or describe basic solutionsPrepare cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documentsDetermine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or servicesGain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvementsContribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directivesMake technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needsCollaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and to provide sales supportDevelop plans to introduce products in new markets RequirementsSales Engineering Experience RequiredStrong Technical or Mechanical Engineering background PreferedExperience Selling to and Supporting Structural Contractors is a plusExperience Selling to and Consulting with Structural Engineering Groups PreferredDomestic travel Required (50% - 75%)Experience with Industrial Fastening a plusExperience with Structural Engineering Regulatory Boards and Steering Committees a plus
