We are seeking an experienced pre-sales engineer with expertise in network engineering, cloud solutions. As the ideal candidate, you have a proven track record of building and developing technical teams and have worked extensively in the pre-sales technical/SaaS space. Your unique mix of technical and customer service skills allow you to thrive as a trusted advisor, ensuring the success of prospects and customers.

You will be tasked with defining & improving the processes used by the SE team to continue our success, mentoring your team to reach even greater heights. You will lead the team that is responsible for helping customers and prospects to understand the technical requirements they need in order to successfully adopt a Digital Evidence Management System. You will act as a liaison for cross-functional teams, to ensure the Sales Engineering teams are aligned. Additionally, the Sales Engineer Manager will be results driven executive with an open, collaborative and team based approach to leadership and management.

Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Axon sales objectives and guide the sales engineering team to align and support those goals.

* Design and refine processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness.

* Implement scalable processes and infrastructure essential to managing rapid growth and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

* Partner with the Learning and Development on staff training needs

* Institutionalize business metrics and key performance indicators essential to building a manageable, predictable, profitable and sustainable high growth business.

* Motivate, coach and empower direct reports in alignment with team success metrics

* Nurture our open and collaborative team environment where individuals take personal responsibility for the organization's success and proactively find solutions to problems.

* Ensure the success of each direct report by providing assistance with escalations, and acting as a professional resource and coach for continued development

* Achieve mastery of all Axon and Evidence.com technologies

* Use exceptional written and oral communication skills to effectively lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations and conversations with CXO- and VP-level audiences within major agency accounts, as well as channel partner leadership and technical stakeholders

* Set and manage expectations with senior stake-holders and team members

* Remain organized and focused on removing sales obstacles through creativity and adaptation to rapidly changes circumstances

* Develop relationships with key partners for growth within their customer base

* Provide professional responses to customer RFPs / RFI

* Train and mentor engineers, customer service, and sales peers on positioning our solutions to prospective customers and managing Proof of Concepts (POC)

* Effectively position the technology against competitive offerings

* Be responsible for representing the products, company values and brand to customers and at field events such as industry and user conferences, tech summits, etc.

* Suggest creative alternatives to address or overcome technical challenges

* Other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications

* Respected industry leader who supports peers and has a team approach

* Bachelor's degree or masters degree or equivalent experience

* Recommended 3 + years of management or lead experience

* Minimum of 3+ years of SE experience

* Minimum of 3+ years of SAAS experience

* Must have strong knowledge of routing and switching methodologies, telecommunications, and Internet technologies.

* Must have a strong knowledge of virtualization and virtual machines

* Must have a basic knowledge of security, ipsec, infosec, hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies.

* Must have basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and storage devices.
