Job Description:

Our client is a Tier 1 automotive supplier searching for an outgoing, professional, detail-oriented Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate will have engineering skills and education, paired with exceptional interpersonal skills and an enterprising attitude. The position will be calling on OEM and Tier 1 customers, and will involve travel, some international. This is a true technical sales role, handling business development, growing customer relationships and seeking out new business, as well as coordinating with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and purchasing. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical, wire harnesses, sensors, or automotive actuators. Salary range is between $65K to $85K based upon experience, plus bonus, full benefits, and 401K matching. Responsibilities include:Maintain relationship with Tier 1 and OEM customers' purchasing and engineering groupsMaintain information related to customers programs & product needsCompile sales records, projections, and market data for internal useResearch industry and market needs to aid in the pursuit of new businessCoordinate with internal engineering, R & D, and quality departments in JapanRequires frequent travel (up to 25%, some international) Skills & Experience Required:Bachelor Degree in Engineering field (electrical, mechanical, aeronautical, manufacturing) or related science fieldAt leasst two years of experience in automotive technical sales ***At this time our client is not taking Visa candidates
