The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in engineering, and may have previous work experience in telecommunications. Candidates with previous experience in sales combined with technical experience or training will also be considered. Candidates must have solid communication skills, sales ability, technical expertise, and work well in a team, or independently.
The Sales Engineer will work with production, engineering and sales to determine how Wilcom's products and services could be designed or modified to suit customers' needs. The Sales Engineer will be expected to travel both domestically, and occasionally internationally.
Selling is a critical part of the job. The Sales Engineer will be expected to use technical skills to demonstrate to existing and potential customers how and why Wilcom's products would suit the customer better than competitors' products.
