~~Our company is a full service machine tool distributor specializing in the sale and service of industry leading; high tech, high precision, machine tools to the metal working industry. We are currently present in a wide range of industries including defense, agriculture, power transmission, medical, oil and gas, and engineering environments. We have seen tremendous growth in the past 2 years and are aggressively expanding our sales force to prepare for the forecasted manufacturing upswing. We are in need of a qualified candidate that would be able to perform the following job in a professional and company orientated manner:


1. Title and Brief Description: Sales Engineer - The primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer is to develop and manage a sales territory which will meet company sales, profit, and growth goals. This individual must be HIGHLY MOTIVATED and RESULTS-ORIENTED with a PASSION FOR THE JOB. The Sales Engineer will be required to develop sales through use of phone, email, and personal visits to client facilities. The Sales Engineer to responsible for understanding customer needs and presenting that customer with the best solution for their application. The candidate must be able to forecast, prepare quotes, and have adequate negotiating skills. Our company headquarters is located in Montgomery, IL but the candidate is able to work anywhere throughout the state of Illinois.


2. Ideal Applicant: The ideal candidate is someone who has past business to business selling experience with machine tool or equipment sales preferred but not required. Marketing experience would also be beneficial but not required. The candidate must be detail orientated, organized, and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Customer Relationship Management software. The candidate must be willing to travel to customer facilities all through out Illinois. The candidate must be able to communicate verbally and through written communication clearly and effectively.


3. Compensation: We offer a competitive salary plus commission structure. Bonus potential available. Health benefits are available. Salary and commission structure is based on experience and qualifications.
