R1012B Sales Engineer Specialty ChE or ME / PJF-SaE-PA
Preference: Sales Or Mfg exp in Paper/Pulp, Nuclear or Waste treatment or Power Plants.
Responsible for all related activity in a select domestic territory
These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage an existing domestic customer base through frequent telephone, email and on-site contact
Continually look to add new end-user candidates through telephone prospecting, solicitation of existing customer references and coordination with inside sales.
Support customers and prospects through site visits for the purpose of conducting drive demonstrations, reviewing applications, and determining proper sizing and selection of drives
Provide start-up assistance and training to ensure proper installation and operation of drives
Complete a call report for each sales related visit made with details on progress made and information gathered.
Develop a working knowledge of the industries served, the process applications where actuators are used and why they're used.
Engineering or related degree required. BSCHE or BSME preferred
5-10 yrs Sales or plant/industrial experience as a Project, Manufacturing, Operations or Process Engineer/Scientist, preferably with ACTUATORS for Paper/Pulp, Nuclear or Waste treatment or power plants. Some technical sales experience is a plus but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must be able to direct a conversation through questioning, listening and discussion of the primary differentiators.
Must be a self-motivated, self-starter capable of developing and executing action plans with a limited amount of daily supervision
Ability and desire to travel approximately 40-50% of the time. A willingness to make a few international trips each year is a plus.
Must have the ability to handle (lift/pull) heavy (100 lbs.) demo cases and climb ladders
