Job Description

Weldaloy Products Company is a leader in forging non-ferrous metal products is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate should be customer focused and driven to meet the Company's business goals and objectives. The desired candidate will demonstrate:

  • Attention to details with solid problem solving abilities

  • Strong diplomacy and interpersonal skills

  • An ability to multi task efficiently, meet deadlines and communicate details

Do you have a proven track record of driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment? Do you have a minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing? If you can answer yes to these questions, we want to hear from you.

Essential Duties:

  • Identifies and champions continuous improvement projects

  • Performs process analysis using statistical tools such as process capability studies, machine capability studies, gage repeatability and experimental design

  • Conducts supplier evaluations and performance measurements using supplier scorecards and surveys

  • Develops and submits PPAP documentation to meet customer requirements

  • Maintains control plans and FMEAS

  • Facilitates the appropriate problem solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and corrective action

  • Assists with resolving customer complaints and concerns

  • Supports and demonstrates the Company's core values

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related quality-related concentration

  • Seven years of recent and related experience in a manufacturing setting

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in ISO 9000 and AS9100

  • ASQ certified, CQE a definite plus

  • Familiar with ANSI GD&T standards

  • Working knowledge of computer software applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel; Experience using Plex ERP software, a plus

  • Working knowledge of Forging, Heat Treat and Machining operations and non-ferrous metals, a plus
