Your Duties:

Our Okemos, MI office is seeking an exceptionally talented and enthusiastic mid-level Project Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to assist in the completion of project level work (data management, field work, report preparation, and design components) on multi-year environmental remediation/management projects for industrial clients (primarily manufacturing and oil and gas industry). Significant decisions and deliverables reviewed by higher level staff. May have project management job components (management of budgets or tasks that are part of larger work scopes)

Your Capabilities and Credentials:

* BS or MS degree in engineering (civil, environmental, or chemical), geology/hydrogeology, or environmental science

* 2 to 5 years' experience in environmental consulting or a related field

* Working toward PE or PG

* Strong technical writing, interpersonal, and communication skills required.

* Good time management

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (AutoCAD experience a plus).

* Current 40-hour OSHA Hazwoper training a plus

* Must have a good driving record and valid driver's license

* Detail oriented

* Self-starter capable of working both individually and as part of a team

* Critical thinking

* Team oriented

* Effective communicator (verbal and written)

* Adaptable

* Outstanding work ethic and a passion for high quality workmanship

* Succesfull completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen required
