Job Responsibilities (not limited to the following): As a project engineer, you will be responsible for performing construction and administrative duties under the supervision of our Project Managers (see Job Duties). This primarily involves coordinating the flow of information from our office, to contractors, owners, suppliers, and other parties involved to see each project through to completion. To fulfill this position, you must be prompt and organized in all facets of your work; this is a great opportunity for attentive, self-driven recent college grads or people with similar experiences, who are looking to build a solid foundation for a career in construction management. Job Duties (not limited to the following):Process submittals and initial project documentsExecute close-out documents for construction projects near completionCorrespond by email or phone to resolve project issues or obtain informationObserve and participate in the construction project process as guided by more experienced project managersLearn as you go! Working in close proximity with our project managers will provide you with opportunities to grow in construction Qualifications - The position requires knowledge of construction and 0-2 year(s) experience in the construction industry (though field exposure will be a component of job training, lasting 0-6 months)- Recent college graduate or similar post-secondary level experience: all majors accepted, construction and engineering related majors or equivalent experience a plus; if you are graduating in Winter 2016/Spring 2017, please indicate that on your resume.- Evidence of self-motivation and solid work ethic- Above average skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus- Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills- High quality oral and written (typing) communication skills If willing, please provide a cover letter that speaks to your interest in starting a job in the construction business, or why you think your background would make you a good fit for our company.This is an entry level position.
