The Project Engineer is an important member of our construction team in a field office environment. Responsibilities include total document control, reviewing and processing submittals for all trades, reviewing shop drawings, submitting and managing subcontractor RFIs and tracking / securing responses, while assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent with daily subcontractor field issues. The P.E. will communicate and correspond with the project's owner and design team, assisting with processing change orders and being an integral contributor to the project's closeout effort. A degree in construction management or related field is desired, but not required. Field experience working for a commercial general contractor is preferred and project experience from the ground up through closeout is desired. Experience in school construction K-12 and higher education, public works projects and healthcare / OSHPD regulated projects is required. Prefer knowledge / familiarity with construction management software; Microsoft Project, Procore, Projectmates, Textura, Blue Beam, Primavera, etc.
