Job Description:

Well established engineering firm located in the Harrisburg metro area is expanding and looking to add a Project Engineer to their team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or electrical background and experience with design, construction and facilities maintenance. This position will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for:Management, scheduling and budgeting of assigned projectsReview and coordinate with trades on install of equipment based on construction documentsEnsuring that equipment works to its specification including creating and carrying out testing proceduresDrafting/preparation of reports for clients and internal staff and maintain project documentationTraining maintenance and operative staff where appropriateClient management and business developmentSupport internal training of junior team members on documentation development, field procedures and equipment usageSpecial projects as required Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with minimum 5-7 years experience in engineering or construction/maintenance related industryMinimum of 3 years experience working with absorbers, chillers, boilers, air ventilation balancing systems and other optimization techniques requiredEIT or PE certification preferredLEED AP preferredHands-on-experience of HVAC and/or electrical systems a mustTrade association participation a plusAble to lift a minimum of 30 lbs and climb laddersMust be able to travel EOE
