SALARY RANGE: $70,000 - $115,000/yr. base salary (salary level is
dependent on years of experience)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
***. Chemical Engineering required; to be considered for this role,
applicants MUST have 5+ years of post-college industry experience out
of chemical manufacturing, petrochemical manufacturing, refining.
Candidates for this job will need to display excellent communication
skills and a strong grasp on the fundamentals of chemical engineering.
Candidates must have some process design experience, on small or large
projects. Simulation experience would be a big plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This person will be based at a manufacturing facility in the Houston,
TX area. Travel will be 10-20%. The role will mainly focus on process
design including putting together P&IDs, PFDs, flow sheets, and
heat/material balances. Additionally this person will be in contact
vendors, will prepare cost estimates for projects, and will assist on
start-ups of projects. This facility has a group of production
engineers as well as a group of project managers and this person will
be part of a group of 2 process design engineers working on projects
ranging from $100,000 to $2MM, possibly up to $35MM. Depending on the
complexity of the project, they could outsource the work to an
Engineering & Construction firm in which this person would be
performing front end design work, working with project managers,
construction managers, and will assist on start-up. On-site equipment
includes: reactors, mixing/blending equipment, powder conveying and
some distillation towers. This site is 'sold-out' in terms of
their product which means they can sell as much as they can make. This
site is currently expanding and this role has excellent growth
potential.
