Job Description

Responsibilities:

Project Management

Lead internal project coordination

Serve as primary project contact to the customer

Coordinate activity with mold shop(s)

Product Maturation:

Analyze data for purpose of maturation benefit

Oversee mold specification creation, review, and distribution

Analyze product performance (appearance, dimensional, fit & function, quality and cost)

Oversee problem tracking chart creation, review and distribution

Troubleshoot and resolve problems with parts/assemblies and molds

Communication:

Conduct meetings with customers, suppliers, and internal personnel

Lead internal project meetings and customer milestone meetings

Skills/Requirements:

Positive thinking and energetic

Understanding of engineering principles and techniques including mathematics, critical thinking and physics

Mechanical background with ability to trouble shoot analytically

Self motivated in both an independent and team work environment

Proven leadership with strong communication skills

Strong detail orientated with good organization

Computer skills (Microsoft Office software, 3D software)

Experience using measuring tools (scales, calipers, pin gages etc.)

Overtime (flexibility and on short notice)

Travel domestically (20% ~ 50%) and internationally

Testing will be required

GTI began operations in July 1987 in Greenville, Ohio. In January 2013, GTI opened a new production facility in Anderson, Indiana and in the summer of 2015, GTI opened a North American Office in Marysville, OH.

GTI produces plastic injection automotive parts for interior and exterior applications. Parts can be simple non-painted injected parts to complex console assemblies. GTI practices a lean manufacturing model, sound 5S principles, and first-in first-out inventory management systems.
