The Toraypef division is in the midst of an expansion exceeding $40 million which will enhance our product offerings and help us surpass our customer's expectations. We have an excellent opportunity available for a Mechanical Engineer who will ensure a successful execution of the specification, design, qualification and installation of new capital equipment starting with small projects now while developing skills to increase the size and scope of multiple large projects by directing contractors and consultants.
Coordinate, direct and lead engineering efforts to ensure optimum engineering of projects/programs to meet schedule requirements for the installation of additional production lines in sheeting irradiation and foam
Interface with vendors on a regular basis to resolve issues.
Facilitate communication between vendors, production, technical, sales, and engineering.
Maintain cost controls through interaction with the accounting group.
Coordinate meetings from kick-off through to part production trials.
Create and monitor project timelines.
Develop and establish cost estimates and project options to support quoting function.
We are seeking candidates with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5-7 years experience. Prior project management experience required.

Strong technical skills in materials, manufacturing, quality, and product design skills.
Ability to use CAD to determine if tooling, equipment and part designs meet requirements.
Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects.
Demonstrated superior communication, teamwork and organizational skills.
Ability to accurately quote design, tools/equipment, and parts.
Ability to develop and meet project schedules, along with contingency plans.
Demonstrated ability to develop and meet financial goals.
Demonstrated ability to identify and develop future account needs.
Demonstrated ability to think out of the box and recommend options.
Ability to lead others. Responsibility may include direct supervision of technicians and mentoring/leading engineers.
Demonstrated broad understanding of capabilities and technologies of facility, suppliers, and customers.
