Job Description

Our client is an international engineering and project management company and they are looking to fill three Mechanical Engineer positions ASAP. All of these positions will be working on projects related to commercial fuel storage and delivery systems that anticipate >3x growth over the next three years. This is a fantastic opportunity to get in early in a very high growth area of their business. They have openings at the Senior level (PE), Junior level (early PE or experienced EIT), and entry level. JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Senior level - manage other engineers; generate project design proposals; analyze and identify gaps in existing commercial fuel systems; project management; communication of current status; ~20% travel
  • Junior level - may direct work of other engineers or techs; lead design and drawing production; develop ASAP fixes for high priority field issues; identify and spec required equipment / vendors; ~20% travel
  • Entry level - This will be mostly a field based position for the first year; reviewing and identifying potential issues on site related to spill prevention control and countermeasures (SPCC); great learning opportunity for entry level engineer that will lead to office based position; ~50% travel first year

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Senior level - Experience in the following: fuel systems design and the relevant code requirements, AutoCAD or BIM, coating and corrosion protection, project and budget management; must have minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering and PE license; prefer American Petroleum Institute (API) certifications in tank / piping inspection; excellent engineering, leadership and project management skills
  • Junior level - Fuel systems or similar experience required; ability to analyze and troubleshoot existing systems in the field; design experience in AutoCAD, Civil3D or MicroStation; must have minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3 years as EIT or early PE preferred; experience in fuel systems equipment, vendors and specifications; good communication skills
  • Entry level - BA or MS in Engineering required, ME is strongly preferred; experience in AutoCAD, MicroStation or Civil3D is strongly preferred; internship or research requiring piping and tank design is a big plus; must have ability to travel >50% for at least the first year; must be responsible and self-motivated
