Qualified candidates should have from 15+ years of experience in the MEP consulting engineering industry. Candidates will be responsible for the design of technical systems from schematics through construction administration on a wide range of building types.
Typical duties will include but not limited to the preparation of the following:
. Responsible for building system concepts and documentation process from schematics through construction administration phases within the discipline.
. Prepare and document required code research for project.
. Participate in the development of the project cost model and design to it.
. Interface with other discipline team members in our integrated collaborative environment.
. Document interpretation and submittal reviews during bidding and construction administration.
. Identify opportunities to improve quality and services, and participate in their implementation.
. Participate in in-house training activities.
. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university, either Architectural or Mechanical, is required.
. PE licensed Professional Engineer
. 15+ years of experience in A/E industry performing, HVAC, plumbing, and fire sprinkler system design.
. General understanding of all aspects of professional services from schematic design through project close-out, including design and technical expertise.
. General understanding of the coordination aspects and related requirements of all design disciplines.
. Knowledge of energy modeling software is preferred.
. Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
.Revit and AutoCAD experience required.
. Very detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible.
. Ability to work well with others under deadline situations.
