Job Description

Join a dynamic, growing, and well compensated team of consultants. We have an immediate need for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) system inspectors for large-scale construction projects in the Midwestern US.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MEP plan reviews on behalf of the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)
  • Perform on-site code inspections for the as-built MEP systems on behalf of the Authority Having Jurisdiction
  • Establish effective working relationships with Client, Owner, Contractors and Sub-Contractors
  • Understand and support the immediate needs of the construction project schedule

Required:

  • College or Technical School Degree
  • Knowledge about the design and construction of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend building codes, design drawings, and specifications
  • Already passed or have the ability to pass the International Code Council certification exam in the Electrical or Mechanical disciplines
  • Willingness to travel to construction sites for 50-75% of the working hours

  • Mechanical or Electrical PE or Commercial Contractors License in HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical
  • Located in the Midwest or near a major airport
