Posting Job Description This role is responsible for the on-site technical support for a variety of technologies in a manufacturing environment. This includes a broad spectrum of administration and technical support services to includes infrastructure (hardware/software), MES workstation (PCs), HMIs (e.g. Rockwell PanelMate, DeltaV PCs, etc.), control system networks, reporting, diagnostics, and administrative functions. This position will be responsible for the support and management of specific portions of the IT infrastructure, and in addition to work with Brewery System Engineers to ensure the delivery of projects, initiatives, and contracted services to ensure successful outcomes. Responsible for ensuring a stable, compliant, reliable plant infrastructure in the manufacturing environment. Complete work as assigned by work orders, IMACs, incidents and service requests. During problem escalations, act as a liaison between end customers and escalated support. Provide 24x7 off hours support to critical incidents on a rotational schedule. Provide technical support to end users, contractors and consultants. Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting and technical support in personal interaction or via phone, web based tools and email. Advise customers regarding the manufacturing system's proper use and address specific user issues. Provide assistance to the customer base during project installations. Ability to escalate problems for efficient resolution. Enable and support technical projects in conjunction with Brewery System Engineers. The job includes working in a manufacturing production environment, in areas of varying degrees of noise, dust, humidity, cold, and hot temperatures. The position also involves occasional stooping or crawling in cramped quarters, hard hat or bump cap, safety glasses, safety shoes and hearing protection. Contributes to a safe work place by performing all tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, OSHA, EPA, FDA, and GMP guidelines, such as Lock-out/Tag-out/Try-out, safety rules, confined-space entry, regulations, Codes (NFPA 70 electrical, building, fire, etc.), and engineering standards. Preferred Qualifications Education and Experience: Associate's Degree (Engr. Technology or Information Technology), or equivalent work experience with minimum 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role for computer technologies in a manufacturing production environment with fundamental understanding of Control Systems, Controls Networks and Ethernet Networks, and Microsoft Windows technologies. Minimum of HSD or equivalent is required. Must be 21 years or older. Skills and Knowledge: -Desktop Imagine Technologies (Norton Ghost, etc.) -Deskside patching technologies (SCCM/Shavlik) -Systems Integration troubleshooting methods and techniques -ISA S-88 / S-95 Standards -Control Systems and HMIs (Emerson DeltaV, Rockwell PLC, GE iFIX SCADA, HMI-iFIX, HMI-PanelView) -Networks (NTron Ethernet, Cisco Ethernet, Rockwell DataHighway, HART, Profibus, Serial Communications, RS-232/-422/-485) -Asset management and documentation -Serve as a resource to other breweries when equipment or system specific issues arise and build relationships with SME's in other plants and vendors. -Demonstrates proficiency in root cause failure analysis and problem solving techniques to ensure effective repairs on equipment or systems are completed. -Understands the principles of product quality control, and is proactive in verifying that repair work and modifications support the achievement of the company's quality goals and objectives. Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution of hardware and/or software problems. Must excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem solving skills are required for success. Innovative thinker who is positive, proactive, and readily embraces change. Provide skills training, and work-instruction certification, in primary craft to trainees, peers and operation personnel. Strong interpersonal effectiveness. Able to work with individuals at all levels of the organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
