Interconnect experience to a fast-moving team of engineers with mixed backgrounds.
Create assembly instructions, bills of materials (BOM's), processes and infrequent shop aids/drawings that are error free and meet customer requirements. Implement customer, contract, and specification changes effectively and efficiently.
Practice and support sound configuration management processes and controls. Participate in balancing the workload within engineering and monitoring and reporting status on key performance indicators (KPI's) and department backlog.
2-5 Years of manufacturing engineering related experience
Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering background
Basic understanding of electrical concepts(e.g. ohm's law)
First-hand tech experience a plus
Preferred experience in interconnect/electronics manufacturing in Aerospace
Ability to read and create wiring schematics
Exposure to GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
Exposure to IPC and Mil Specs
Experience creating work instructions, BOMs and providing technical support.
Bilingual (Spanish), multiple years of Interconnect Experience (connectors, wiring harnesses, cable bundling, etc.), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, ERP system part mastering and/or data entry.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must communicate professionally (written and verbally).
