Job Description

DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Acting as an IT engineer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) focused on designing, building, configuring, deploying, and supporting VMware, physical server and blade hardware and operating systems (Microsoft/Linux), Storage Area Networking (SAN), and other technologies (MS Exchange, SharePoint, CISCO, etc.); (2) Managing and supporting the virtualized server enterprise landscape and SAN, to include vBlock converged infrastructure solutions, SAN storage pools, SAN fiber fabrics, iSCSI, SSD caching, ESXi, vCenter, VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM), and VSAN; (3) Managing and supporting the enterprise landscape to include upgrades, patches, fixes, and administration; (4) Leading enterprise solutions initiatives when necessary, and driving initiatives relative to the enterprise infrastructure; (5) Working closely with the help desk and level two support to act as a level three resource both in resolving technical issues and in also performing knowledge transfer and mentoring to less experienced staff members; (6) Researching and driving the advancement of enterprise technologies.

REQUIRED:

MUST have 4+ years of MICROSOFT server engineering and VMware server design, build, implementation, and support experience to include physical servers, virtualized servers, blade servers, and SAN.

MUST have 4+ years of CISCO design, configure, implementation, and support experience.

MUST have experience leading technical initiatives in a hands on capacity.

MUST have excellent communication (written/verbal), interpersonal, relationship building, and organizational skills.

Pluses: MCSE. SAP. MS SQL Server. MS SharePoint. SQL databases. VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM). Mobile.
