Perform preventive maintenance and assist with repair of landscape, construction, refuse, irrigation, and snow removal equipment. Assist with minor repair to major overhaul of all components of department machinery, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical, suspension, drive trains, and body work. Maintain records of repairs performed tracking time and cost. Maintain and assist with an inventory schedule for parts, chemicals, metals, and maintenance related items. Perform other duties as assigned. Work in inclement weather required. Evening and weekend hours may be required.
