Blue Medora L3 engineers are counted on to be an active member in the company every day they come into work. They are relied on not only as external subject-matter experts but also experts of the products that are made internally by the company. The following items describe some of the skills and topics we look for in L3 engineers in order to meet these job role requirements:
Enthusiasm for IT and Support, and the ability to learn and improve our products
Reasonable knowledge of programming languages
1-3 years of development experience. A basic understanding of software testing and concepts
Basic understanding of common programming paradigms; logic, syntax, recursion, threading, design patterns
Experience using a variety of operating systems including: Linux (RedHat, SUSE, ...), Windows 2008 and above, AIX, and more
Attention to detail!
Proficiency in basic IP Networking
Ability to solve problems
Excellent communication skills
Experience with virtualization software and technologies
Experience with Oracle Database/WebLogic, Amazon EC2, Siebel, JBoss EAP, Tomcat
