Job Description

Databranch, a leading IT Managed Services and Solutions Provider, is looking for a motivated and energetic Field Engineer to join our team.

Qualified candidate will be responsible for installation, administration and ongoing support of multiple client network environments, including experience with PC and Server configuration, installation, troubleshooting. Should possess proficient knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, PC and server hardware, network infrastructure, applications software and operations. Experience/capabilities should also include Microsoft Active Directory, routing/switching, security, remote access, VPN, Virtualization and other current mainstream IT technologies.

Description of duties/responsibilities:

  • Provides technical services to clients both onsite and remote.
  • Administration and implementation of LAN, VPN and Microsoft server infrastructure, PC hardware/software integration
  • Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting and problem solving skills diagnosing and resolving server, network, Internet, PC and printing issues
  • Ability to facilitate and lead projects and meetings and assist sales team to authenticate, close and facilitate customer projects
  • Timely and accurate completion of all documentation in service management system on daily basis- time sheets, technical notes, etc.
  • Be knowledgeable on products, services and solutions offered by company and represent company in a professional and ethical manner at all times
  • Ensure high quality of customer satisfaction through results and attitude
  • A positive attitude is required along with the ability to interact in a positive way with clients and other team members
  • Travel on a regular basis in market territory for consulting activities, occasional overnight travel may be expected for training or projects
  • Training and vendor certification on products as required
  • Must have own car and a clean driver's license.


Requirements:

  • A High School diploma is required, Associates or Bachelor's degrees or higher desirable
  • Strong Microsoft Windows OS experience a requirement
  • Industry certifications such as current CompTIA A+, Network +, Microsoft MCP, SonicWALL CSSA desirable
  • Other vendor certifications a plus - Microsoft MCSA, Cisco CCENT, CCNA, CCDA, SonicWALL CSSP, HP AIS, CompTIA , Security +, Citrix CCA, VMware VCA
