Now here's the fun stuff:

  • Hands-on support for a 24x7 multi-site Contact Center Environment utilizing a combination of open source and Microsoft servers and applications.
  • Work independently while following a structured approach.
  • Isolate and troubleshoot operational issues quickly in a high visibility production environment without impacting services while working within the existing control and notification processes and procedures.
  • Manage enterprise backups and disaster recovery.
  • Implement monitoring and escalation software and third party tools.
  • A quick learner who can pick up new skills as needed.
  • Implement best practices and change management.
  • Work with telecom vendors and service providers.
  • Build and manage virtual cloud server platform environment.
  • Managing MYSQL and MSSQL databases.
  • Troubleshoot code and database issues in PHP and .Net programming languages.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience managing multi-site and multi-data center networks, security and servers.
  • 10+ years of experience with Cisco, HP and/or Sophos networking and security technologies utilizing VOIP, SIP, BGP, VLAN, and MPLS protocols.
  • 10+ years of experience managing Microsoft Windows and Linux Centos servers.
  • 10+ years of experience with virtualization technologies VMware and KVM.
  • 10+ years of experience Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Email.
  • 10+ years of experience large enterprise management Desktop Support of 100+ users.
  • 10+ years of experience managing Apache web server farms and load balancers.
  • 5+ years of experience building and creating linux kernel and kickstart packages.
  • 5+ years of experience programing in unix shell scripting, DOS batch, and PHP for process automation.
  • 5+ years of experience with open source VOIP products, preferably Asterisk, FreePBX and vicidial.
  • Flexibility to work in a 24x7x365 on-call production environment.
  • Honest and responsible technology professional.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
  • Excellent documentation, network diagraming, technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between offices and data centers.
  • Proactive and positive work ethic with great customer service skills.
  • Innovative outside-the-box thinker.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Salary & Benefits

The compensation package for this position includes a competitive base salary commensurate with experience. This is a contract to hire opportunity with a benefits waiting period.
