Job Description

As a HighJump Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling clients' Warehouse Management System capabilities by working with the HighJump WMS Development Team. You will work on everything from creating new Fulfillment Center workflows in HighJump Architect and Webwise to writing and tuning SQL Stored Procedures in the Database. You will also be responsible for planning and releasing deployments of HighJump Packages to Production. We're looking for someone who understands the full stack and is willing to work at all levels. Must be able to work onsite in WI.

  • Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Webwise, HighJump Architect workflows, T-SQL, SQL Server Tables and Stored Procedures.
  • Contribute to the Design and Development process as part of a team.
  • Resolve issues and provide updates for the support desk.
  • Build relationships with peers and other teams to achieve objectives, maintain objectivity, and give and welcome feedback on technology, design and implementation decisions.
  • Help plan and implement all actions required to deploy applications to production environment.
  • Define the system requirements based on the functional and technical requirements of the applications being developed.
  • Ensure that corporate policies and industry best practices are observed and followed in developed applications.
  • Participate in/lead code review sessions.
  • Mentor junior team members on HighJump and SQL best practices


  • 6+ years of experience with HighJump WMS software
  • 4+ years' experience with SQL Server, including ability to design schemas, write queries, and/or stored procedures.
  • 4+ years' experience integrating with Web Service APIs (XML, SOAP/XML & REST/JSON)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and someone who is passionate about quality, supportability, extensibility, and simple design.
  • Experience in writing, reading and troubleshooting Structured Query Language (SQL) queries.
  • Experience with translating business requirements into technical design documents using tools.
  • Developing reports, SQL DBA, Windows server/WSUS, SQL Developer, Architect Development, ETL, Data Transformation, Crystal Reports
