Job Description

Provide aircrew services to perform HH-60 Functional check Flights (FCFs), maintenance flight tests,

Operational Check Flights (OCFs), Acceptance Test Profiles (ATPs), to determine airworthiness and

maintenance status of the aircraft. They will also perform aircraft recoveries, pick up or deliveries to

and from CONUS locations to home bases and under special circumstances from multiple locations

worldwide for the PR Helicopter Rescue Squadrons (RQS), and Air Combat Command (ACC). All

flying operations will be conducted In Accordance With (IAW) Air Force regulations, instructions,

manuals, technical orders, and drawings and any other department of Defense (DOD), Federal

Aviation Administration (FAA) or other official publications which apply to aircraft operations or

associated with the processing of aircraft subsequent to their completion of depot modification. The

requirements of these documents, and any additional governing documents issued by competent

authority that are applicable to these operations, shall be followed.

Qualifications:

All aircrew personnel shall be previously HH-60G qualified as indicated by successful

completion of a formal USAF aircrew qualification-training course and as required by AFJI 10-

220. Contractor may substitute a US Army AMOC graduate who was previously qualified in

the MH-60D/L. The RQG and RQS commanders shall review and approve the qualifications of

these personnel.

All aircrew personnel previously USAF instructor qualified shall maintain instructor status IAW

AFJI 10-220.

Contractor Aircrew qualification shall be maintained by the contractor as part of the flight

operations required herein. In the event aircraft flow rate drops to a level that precludes

maintenance of qualifications, the contractor shall immediately notify base RQS/CC, through

the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or GTL, and provide in writing, a recommended

course of action.

Contractor aircrews will perform specific maneuvers during daylight visual conditions with a

minimum three man crew (two (2) pilots and one (1) engineer) that will permit the evaluation of

aircraft systems such as infrared sensors and the enhanced navigation system. Night flights

may be conducted under nighttime visual flight rules (VFR) and visual meteorological

conditions (VMC) to evaluate cockpit night vision imaging systems (NVIS) lighting. Ferry flights

under day or night instrument flight rules (IFR) are authorized.

The contractor shall maintain HH-60G technical reference material sufficient to support this

contract. The contractor shall be placed on distribution for documents and their subsequent

updates listed in Amendment 1

Must be able to lift 75lbs. or more

Special Requirements:

Individual must remain worldwide deployable and will be required to successfully complete

medical screening for deployment to operational theaters

Contractor personnel must possess a valid United States drivers license and passport

Contractor personnel selected will have a minimum of an active SECRET clearance in effect at

the time they are to begin work under this task order and be subject to a government security

investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to

classified information and Communications Security (COMSEC) material.
