The Electronic Design Engineer's main job responsibilities will include electronic circuit design, analysis and verification. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment with limited instruction, where the engineer exhibits a high degree of control over the product design.
Technical - Primary
Prefer candidates who possess experience in design / development of sensor related products for the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of circuit and PCB design.
Proficient with circuit simulation tools.
Strong analytical and hands-on skills.
Good troubleshooter and problem solver.
Experienced in creation of standard automotive engineering documents, such as DFMEA, DV test plans, etc
Ability to write hardware-software interface requirements.
Ability to prepare and lead design review meetings.
Technical - Secondary
Experienced with transducers, sensors, data acquisition and laboratory equipment.
Ability to review, check and critique other designs.
Ability to handle engineering projects from the conceptual stage through production implementation.
Manage project development to ensure committed dates are met.
Manage project development to ensure cost targets are achieved
Interface with related groups such as purchasing, manufacturing, sales and program management to achieve goals.
4-6 years of experience in electronic circuit design.
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and/or pass Casco Circuit Design Test
