We are seeking highly motivated and detailed individual who is self-directed and able to manage multiple projects and is able to professionally engage with customers. This is for a global leader in industrial process equipment such as centrifuges, filter presses, separators and ancillary equipment. They will coordinate electrical engineering data both internally and externally to satisfy company contractual requirements and proposal responsiveness, including any bills of material, drawing packages and electrical design changes as ************* will also be involved in the testing and commissioning of electrical equipment.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES Responsible for interpreting customer specifications and drawing requirements, along with industrial standards such as NFPA, CSA, UL508 and NEMA and translating these requirements into component bills of material and electrical drawings for the fabrication of process control panels used primarily in waste water treatment and food processing plants. Standardizes control devices and motor drives for each machine type. Assures electrical configuration meets specifications and/or customer requirements in accordance with contract definition. Generates electrical approval and certified drawing packages while insuring accuracy and completeness for customer submission and fabrication Understands process controls terminology and instrumentation. PLC and HMI programming skills. Design and develop software applications based on given requirements and specifications. Allen Bradley RS Logix 500 and 5000 programming and HMI programming using Factory Talk.
Preferred Experience and knowledge in the use of one or more of the following is a PLUS Wonderware IFix Modicon Concept GE Cimplicity Siemens S7 PHYSICAL
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with three plus years of related experience.
