Job Description:

A leader in innovative products and complete solutions in the healthcare industry is currently seeking an Engineer in the West Chicago, IL area. This is an 6-8 month CONTRACT position. IF offered perm job, location will change to Raleigh, NC. No per diem is available for this assignment. Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required. Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer * Candidate will interpret customer specifications and drawings, quotations and other documents to prepare electrical and mechanical drawings and bills of material for Motor Control Center (MCC) orders. * Use a variety of software tools to efficiently and accurately prepare the documents required to manufacture MCC orders * Provide customer drawings, assembly drawings and bills of materials for the MCC (structure, units, shipping section) based on product knowledge, knowledge of applicable codes and standards, and use of appropriate reference documents * Position requires ability to successfully interact with manufacturing, application engineering, engineering, sales and customers Requirements for the Electrical Engineer * BS Degree in Electrical Engineering. * 2 or more years of motor control center engineering experience * 2 or more years of motor controls engineering experience * Ability to read wiring schematics and other technical drawings; Microsoft Office and CAD Benefits * 401K * Healthcare Related Words: engineer, electrical, cad, microsoft office, wiring schematics, technical drawings, motor control center, motor control engineering, mcc engineering, manufacturing, autocad, fames/compas, problem solving, assembly drawings, customer drawings, circuits, electrical schematics, connection diagrams, installation, application, discrepancy resolution, mcc, customer specifications, mechanics, documentation, application engineering, training assistance
