Note: This position can be a Salary Grade E02 (Electrical Engineer II) or E03 (Sr Electrical Engineer) based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. Directorate & Center Description: The mission of the System Test Directorate is to develop, integrate and execute test strategies and solutions to guarantee product performance, producibility, and warfighter suitability through collaboration across Raytheon Missile Systems. Systems Test opportunities include: Working with state-of-the-art and emerging technologies. Working with customers in a teaming environment. Hands-on testing on all RMS products. Domestic and international travel. Innovative rapid prototyping. Supporting live-fire testing of our products. Designing and developing software for simulation and test equipment environment Designing and developing methods and equipment to effectively test systems. The Test Systems Solutions Center (TSSC) applies an interdisciplinary approach to provide total test solutions that ensure the quality of all missile products. TSSC uses common platforms and processes to design/develop production, depot and engineering test stations. Job Description: The candidate will participate on engineering teams performing design, integration and validation of RMS test products within the Test Systems Solution Center (TSSC). As such, the candidate will contribute to the development at all stages of Special Test Equipment (STE) for missile products. The candidate will work under general supervision and follow established procedures to plan and perform a variety of tasks related to the development of hardware for test stations. Typical work involves frequent use and application of Electrical Engineering standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques; interacting with other engineering groups to define, analyze, perform, and interpret tests requirements; uncovering issues and determining course of action to obtain the desired results; and reporting progress to Team lead. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment. Required Skills: U.S. Citizenship is required A minimum 2 years professional engineering design work with emphasis in RF propagation and antenna characterization ( Note: This is a position for experienced professionals. If you have completed your degree within the last 18 months please apply to RMS college jobs under ) Experience with test and measurement of RF signals (Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer) RF component/system integration RF chain analysis Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Desired Skills: Familiar with basic lab test equipment, CAD, PSpice, Timing Designer and Mentor Graphics design tools Knowledge of a variety of RF architectures and components RF parts specification Schematic generation Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse environment Self-starter and able to manage workload to meet assigned deadlines Excellent technical writing and formal presentation experience Experience with Test Equipment development Required Education (including Major): B.S. in Electrical Engineering (MSEE preferred) Check us out on YouTube: Raytheon Company Overview Are you ready to be remarkable with Raytheon?
