JOB DESCRIPTIONJob TitleAutomation Controls Engineer Major FunctionHardware & Software design and debug of industrial controls for various custom automated assembly, test and material handling machines. Specific DutiesIn order of priority, the essential duties and responsibilities of this position,the percentage of time spent on each, and key performance measures.20 Design/Specify and Integrate Electrical and Pneumatic, Hydraulic Control Systems Hardware for Automated Assembly, Test, and Material Handling Systems.65 Design Control Software for PLCs; PCs; Industrial Touch screens; robotic, stepper and servo motor controls; machine vision; industrial test systems; and much more. Play an integral role in system commissioning and customer acceptance at Calvary.5 Write machine functional/maintenance manuals based on designs.10 Install, train, and commission machines at customer's site. Play integral role in system acceptance/sign-off at customer facilityAdditional Duties/Responsibilities:1. Other duties as assigned Management Ability/ SkillsManagement of own time, Ability to work well with other disciplines within the organization.
