Your Role: Faraday Future (FF) is looking for an energetic individual to join our EHS team. Located at our new offices in the City of North Las Vegas, Nevada and reporting to the Sr. Construction and Contract Safety Engineer, the Construction Safety Engineer would be responsible for the following: Responsibilities: ? Oversees and ensures the safety of employees, subcontractors, and general public. ? Conducts audit and assurance inspections to ensure procedural compliance, validate inspection results, and to follow-up on actions taken to correct deficiencies. ? Ensures effective and timely preventive and corrective actions are taken and recurrence of problems are eliminated or minimized. ? Works closely with contractor field supervision to plan more complex safety aspects of the project construction including critical lifts, hazardous material handling, etc. ? Enforces corporate and project health and safety plan (HASP) requirements ? Provides environmental, health, and safety expertise to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. ? Participates in Project EHS meetings, risk assessments and safety committees. ? Participates on incident investigation teams. ? Management of project safety managers.Oversite of contractor project safety representatives. ? Promotes and influences an Injury-Free Culture between clients, co-workers and subcontractors. ? Management of project safety managers.Performs other Safety related duties as assigned by the Senior Safety Engineer. Qualifications: ? Associate Degree in Health & Safety or equivalent combination of experience including possessing a BCSP Safety Certification or an extensive construction safety background. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills. ? 10 + years relevant construction safety experience on major projects over $100 million in scope. ? Construction Health & Safety Technician(CHST) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred. ? OSHA 500, 502 & 510 Trainer course. ? Able to manage multiple, competing priorities in a deadline driven environment. ? Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners. ? Proof of training/competency in managing cranes and lifting operations, energized electrical, EI/LOTO, fall protection, respiratory protection, excavation, scaffolds, hot work, heavy equipment and confined space safety (Must be within the past 5 years). ? Proficiency in MS office and EHS Management Systems ">
