The Automotive Internet Sales Manager is extremely knowledgeable about our vehicles and services, the industry, and our market, including vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety features and functions, and financing options for both new and used vehicle inventories. He or she responds to customer inquiries relating to vehicles, products, and services via the internet, mobile or smart phones, and other electronic media and presents new and pre-owned vehicles to customers in an attractive and highly informative fashion that promotes a prompt sale. In addition, the Automotive Internet Sales Representative maintains an ongoing relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeat business. The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED (post high school education preferred), a proven sales performance record (in any industry), and a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota on an ongoing basis. He or she must have strong computer, internet, and social media skills. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
