Paul Conte Chevrolet just completed a multi-million dollar expansion and we are experiencing tremendous growth. We are seeking a general sales manager with demonstrated leadership and closing skills to handle our increased volume of Chevrolet business!
The ideal General Sales Manager will
Manage, train and lead a team of automotive sales professionals and managers
Be a strong closer engaging customers early in the sale to maximize gross
Actively support, encourage and motivate sales and management team daily to maintain high productivity
Maintain the standards of integrity, trust and respect among our dealership and with customers
Be accountable for daily performance metrics in sales, appointments and call follow up.
Follow-up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate future leads
The ideal General Sales Manager should possess the following:
Minimum of 5 years Sales Management experience, preferably with General Motors, or more specifically, Chevrolet
Strong closing skills with the ability to ask for the sale and follow-up with customers
Passion for customer retention and strong CSI
Commitment to building a team with employee retention as the core
Experience in building sales volume using organic, digital and traditional sales and marketing strategies
Outgoing personality with excellent verbal/written communication skills along with strong negotiation and presentation skills
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
