Job Description

SUMMARY
Auto Body blocking involves preforming all work to prepare vehicles for paint. This includes but is not limited to taping, masking, priming, and sanding. This position Temp-to-Hire.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing the overall appearance of vehicles for paint including the following

  • Tape, paper, prime and sand vehicles prior to paint
  • Wet sand and buff
  • Removal and Installations of parts
  • Painting of various parts
  • Color matching
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Keeping a neat work environmentconsistentand company policies
  • Assist with all general body shop duties as needed
  • Multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Follow allcompanysafety policies and procedures
  • Assist withsnowremoval in the winter months which could include driving auction cars through the lanes on sale day.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED. Individuals must have 1 to 3 years of experience in a paint or body shop environment.

Pay Scale: $11.00 -$16 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
