Design, develop, test and implement software and applications (front end & back end).
Manage assigned workload including individual projects, assigned activities on larger projects and enhancement/support tickets.
Develop / enhance client facing and internal applications.
Participate and/or manage sprints.
Apply innovative new technologies to improve the technology platform.
Support, troubleshoot and maintain software applications.
Participate in design and code reviews.
Work with business users to clarify and understand requirements.
Develop and maintain documentation.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related degree.
0-2 years of .NET development experience.
Good working knowledge of integration and web services (SOAP, WSDL, Windows Communication Foundation, REST).
Possess excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
Works well in dynamic team environment and has a positive attitude.
A solid understanding of computing environment concepts (MVC, object oriented methodologies, databases, etc.)
Ability to keep pace with changing software technologies - at least to have an understanding of how new technologies work for potential integration.
Desired skills but not required: Skills in .NET, ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server.
Skills in SQLServer including knowledge of SSRS and SSIS.
Skills and experience using data structures (XML, JSON)
Experience with customizing the Salesforce.com application and the force.com platform.
Experience with responsive UI frameworks such as bootstrap and jquery.
Experience developing mobile applications.
Experience in SDLC (Waterfall and Agile techniques).
Knowledge and experience of Insurance Company systems and processes.
