Are you an ASE Master Automotive Technician? Join the First Transit team and become a leader in our Philadelphia shop as Technician In Charge. We maintain and operate SEPTA CCT Connect Paratransit vehicles. As Technician In Charge, you will diagnose and repair commercial paratransit vehicles. TYou must have the ability to effectively work and communicate with employees and customers and be a leader in our maintenance shop. Ensuring work orders are completed accurately.Selecting appropriate course of action for repairs.Evaluating completed work prior to release, seeking supervisor approval where required.Performing road calls and emergency services as necessary.Moving vehicles safely between job and work area.Communicating professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors.Actively participating in safety or educational training as required.Continuous ASE re-certification to remain in job classification. Technician In Charge job requirements:ASE Master Automotive Certification requiredHigh school diploma or GED equivalentValid driver's licensePA State Inspection preferredDirect automotive repair experienceShop supervisory experience preferredExperience in Diagnostics, Maintenance, Record Keeping and Scheduling.Computer skills.
