Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Adobe CQ5 Developer who understands how to deploy, customize and extend the Adobe CQ5 (AEM) content management system. You must understand pattern-oriented development practices, object-oriented design, and web application frameworks would have a good foundation for what this position requires. You must be solutions oriented with their approach and collaborative cross-team to determine the best outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Translating business requirements into technical implementation within the confines of the Adobe AEM framework

Providing technical guidance and assistance to fellow development team members

Understanding the business and technical requirement to implement the application code accordingly

Providing level of effort and implementation timelines as required by the Project Manager

Manage risk and promptly alert Tech Lead or Project Manager of potential issues

Uses industry standards and best practices to implement solutions.

Keeping abreast of new technologies and shares important findings with team.

Focuses on improving the style, modularity, and reusability of produced source code.

Focuses on developing innovative, scalable, and efficient software.

Follows and adheres to the team's development methodologies

Requirements/Qualifications:

Extensive experience developing components, pages, and bundles utilizing Adobe CQ 5.x (6.x preferred)

Have a strong understanding of JAVA, JSP, CRX, JCR, Felix, OSGi and other technologies involved in deploying solutions based on the Adobe CQ framework

Have a strong understanding of front-end technologies and libraries including JQuery, ExtJS, JSON

Have a strong understanding of OOP concepts, development patterns, computing complexity and algorithms

Have a strong understanding of design and coding across all tiers in n-tier application development frameworks

Have a strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies

yuou must have interpersonal, group discussion, decision making, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills
