3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

We have an opening for a Maintenance Mechanic. This position requires a high degree of mechanical aptitude. Applicants must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Knowledge in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their interrelationships is required.

Job Functions:

Inspecting, repairing and maintaining functional parts of all mechanical equipment and systems throughout the facility.

Operation of hoists, lift trucks, power tools, cranes, loaders, vehicles, and hand tools.

Welding, fabricating or machining parts or assemblies to repair, maintain, build or assemble equipment.

Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations.

Participate in cross training and personal development opportunities

Work with other parties/vendors to ensure all equipment is maintained properly

Strive toward continuous improvement in productivity and quality, utilizing Lean initiatives

Ensure work area is clean, safe and well maintained at all times

Perform other duties as assigned

Overtime is required

Required Skills:

Mechanical aptitude

Experience in maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Experience in handling multiple projects to tight timelines

Experience with vender interaction and relations

Minimal PC skills in conjunction with repair process

Safety orientated

Demonstrate process knowledge

Hours are from 11pm-7:00am
